Selecting one right framework to suit the web development project can be difficult and tiring, even more, when myriad of similar-looking options are available with almost-all properties and features. PHP does not have one single default framework for web development (like Ruby on Rails for Ruby, or Django for Python). Here we discuss Laravel that declares itself as a framework for rapid development with a simple syntax which is easy to learn, read, and maintain, and Symphony that is designed as a set of decoupled components, with two benefits: any component is replaceable and can be used as a non-Symfony project. Read the illustrative Symphony vs Laravel comparison.
